Bridging Digital Divides,
One Conversation at a Time
Community Virtual Platform Training Services
When COVID-19 shifted civic engagement online, not everyone came along. CCG partnered with DOTI to understand what was keeping Denver's Vietnamese, Spanish, and Amharic-speaking communities from participating in virtual meetings—and what it would take to bring them in. Through 60 one-on-one interviews with community members and trusted navigators, we uncovered the real barriers: technology access, digital literacy, and language. The result was a comprehensive framework for virtual platform training that ensures no resident gets left behind when the meeting goes digital.
