Safe Streets Start with the
Voices We Haven't Heard
City of Boulder North 30th Street Preliminary Design
Boulder's 30th Street is one of the city's most dangerous corridors—and the communities most affected are often the least heard. CCG led an equity-centered engagement strategy that prioritized reaching traditionally underrepresented residents through Spanish-language focus groups, paid participation incentives, and targeted outreach at mobile home parks, transitional housing, and senior living facilities. The result: 515 surveys, 180 community conversations, and a preliminary design shaped by the people who navigate this corridor every day.
